Data Engineer

Position : Data Engineer

Required Work Experience : 4-6 years

Notice Period : Immediate joiner

Required Technical Knowledge : ETL Apache airflow, Optimization and Tuning data pipelines, Data Modeling, SQL, Hadoop infra/ Cloud

Roles and Responsibility:

· Overseeing a team of data engineers, providing guidance, support, and regular feedback.

· Planning, coordinating, and delivering data engineering projects on time.

· Staying updated with the latest trends and advancements in data engineering and integrating relevant technologies into the workflow.

· Designing scalable, robust data architectures and approving technical decisions.

· Developing and maintaining efficient ETL processes and data pipelines.

· Continuously optimizing data workflows to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

· Helping team members develop their skills and advance in their careers.

· Fostering a positive and collaborative team culture.

· Acting as a liaison between the team and upper management.

· Setting clear goals, defining project scopes, and assigning tasks to team members.

· Monitoring progress and making adjustments as necessary to stay on track.

· Conducting regular performance reviews and providing constructive feedback.

· Identifying areas for improvement and helping team members set and achieve professional development goals.

· Recognizing and rewarding team achievements.

· Addressing and resolving any conflicts or issues that arise within the team.

· Mediating disagreements and facilitating effective communication to maintain a harmonious work environment.

· Aligning team efforts with the overall business objectives and vision.

· Ensuring the team has the necessary tools, training, and support to perform their tasks effectively.

· Ensuring stakeholders’ expectations are met and managing any issues or concerns they may have.

· Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of project plans, progress reports, and technical specifications.

· Encouraging a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.

· Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing best practices.
