About the role
As a Data Engineer at Barwon Water, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our data pipelines and architecture to enable data driven solutions and help keep our customer data secure. Your expertise in data processing, storage, and analysis will help ensure that our systems can efficiently handle large datasets and provide actionable insights.
Working with various technologies and platforms such as MS Fabric, Databricks, and other cloud-based solutions and on-premises systems you will streamline how data is collated and provide insights into the story behind the data.
You will help ensure the integration of data sources with a cross functional team to support data standards, while continuously improving data workflows to meet the evolving needs our customers and community.
About you
You will be a data guru, someone who thrives engineering how data works and integrates with various systems. Providing opportunity to grow, you will be part of a broader team that includes engineers, architects and integration specialists.
With an inquisitive mind and natural curiosity, you will constantly have an eye to emerging trends and technologies, to support modernising our data processes.
With qualifications in Information Technology and certifications in data fields, your experience in data management and pipeline maintenance will be challenged, as you continue your career path. Working in a high functioning team who will value your development, you will be motivated to take Barwon Water into a new data centric world.
