We’re actively seeking an experienced (semi-senior) Continuous Improvement Specialist, Data Scientist, Business Data Analyst or similar role with experience in IT or telecom sector, to join our team in Madrid, with a hybrid work model. You will be part of the Operations department.
¿What would be your mission within this role? As a Continuos Improvement Specialist, you will design and implement a continuous improvement and process transformation program within the organization, focusing on the standardization, automation, and documentation of key processes to optimize operational efficiency and decision-making.
Main Responsibilities:
Process Analysis and Optimization:
- Map, analyze, and document critical processes, ensuring their optimization and standardization.
- Identify inefficiencies, redundancies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Develop and maintain tools and documentation to facilitate operational management.
Process Management and Automation in JIRA:
- Design, manage, and optimize workflows in JIRA to improve operational efficiency.
- Configure dashboards, automations, business rules, and reports in JIRA.
- Integrate JIRA with other company tools to enhance process traceability.
Implementation of Continuous Improvement Initiatives:
- Apply methodologies such as Lean, Agile, CMMI, and Design Thinking to drive process innovation.
- Develop and implement tools that facilitate process management and control.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement through training and team support.
Process Measurement and Monitoring:
- Define and implement KPIs and metrics to evaluate process efficiency.
- Develop reports and control dashboards using tools like JIRA, Power BI, or similar.
- Propose improvements based on the analysis of operational and performance data.
Process Documentation and Standardization:
- Create and maintain clear and structured documentation on processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Develop templates, guides, and manuals to standardize processes across the organization.
- Ensure that information is accessible and up to date for all teams.
Job Requirements
Experience:
- 3 to 5 years in roles related to continuous improvement, process transformation, or process management in technology environments.
- Experience in managing and configuring workflows in JIRA (administrator level is a plus).
- Development of tools and documentation to facilitate operational management.
- Experience with process maturity models such as CMMI (preferred).
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Specialization in Process Management, Agile, Data Engineering, or Data Science is a plus.
Technical Knowledge:
- Process analysis and improvement: Lean, Agile, BPM, CMMI, Design Thinking.
- Process automation and configuration in JIRA: JQL, JIRA API, JIRA Scripting.
- Process frameworks and standards: ISO 9001, ITIL, IATF 16949, ISO 14001.
- Data management and automation: SQL, Python, Groovy, Power BI, Data Science tools.
- Process management and documentation tools: JIRA, Confluence, Notion.
- Security and risk management in processes: Risk and opportunity assessment.
Key Skills:
- Analytical thinking and process improvement orientation.
- Ability to document and structure information clearly and accessibly.
- Capability to automate processes and develop support tools.
- Proactivity and a strong focus on operational optimization.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, extroverted and friendly personality, and team-building abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask.
